Application Process

Here is a step-by-step breakdown of what to expect when you apply for a data license with UtahRealEstate.com.

Register

Start by registering for a Data Services account with UtahRealEstate.com. Provide us with basic information about your company. Designate a technical and administrative contact that will be associated with your account. The technical contact should be the individual or group of individuals (if using a shared group email) who is handling the data feed. The administrative contact should be the individual that is authorized to sign the licensing agreement on behalf of your company. Please make sure to include this individual’s title when entering in the information. Finally, provide us with a brief description of the product you are developing and how that product will use the MLS data.

Register

Confirm Email Address

After you register, you will receive an automated email from us which asks you to confirm your email address. With one click of a button, you can confirm your email address. We are automatically notified once you confirm your email address, and our licensing team will be in touch shortly thereafter.

UtahRealEstate.com Outreach
As needed, we may email or call you to ask for additional information or clarification on the information you provided when you registered for your Data Services account. This outreach, if needed, will typically occur within 24 business hours of the time you registered for an account on our Data Services website.
Licensing Agreement
As soon as we have the information needed, either from the information provided during your initial registration or via step #3 above, we will send your administrative contact a licensing agreement via DocuSign.
API Access
Once the licensing agreement is signed by both your company and UtahRealEstate.com, we will send your technical and administrative contacts an email confirming that your API access has been enabled, along with the information needed to access our API. You will then also be able to login to our Data Services website (this website), where you can access our API documentation, edit your account information, submit licensing fee payments (as applicable), etc. API access will typically be made available within 24 business hours of the date the agreement is signed by all parties.
